Brand

Brevity, made visible.

Brevid is brief + video, from the Latin brevis, “short.” The product turns a walkthrough of your own software into a concise, narrated tutorial. Our identity says the same thing in one glance: a play button in motion, getting to the point.

These are working marks. We built them in-house to move fast, vectorized from our chosen concept and snapped to the palette below. The geometry still wants a professional designer’s hand: optical balance, curve refinement, and true kerning are on the list before we call this final. Treat it as our living identity, not the finished logo.

The lettermark

A single glyph for small spaces: favicons, the app, avatars. Look closely and it’s three ideas folded into one shape: a B for Brevid, a play button for video, and motion lines for speed and brevity. Because it carries no wordmark, the same file reads on light and dark. No separate variant needed.

Where it comes from

The symbol is the product. A video frame with a play button is the most universal shorthand for “press here, watch this”: exactly the moment Brevid creates out of a help article. We didn’t want a presenter on a stock background or a screenshot with arrows; we wanted the act of playing a tutorial, distilled to a single shape.

The three motion lines carry the rest of the name. They read as speed (a frame mid-flight) and as brevity: not just short, but cut to the point. That’s the promise of the name and the product in one stroke.

The colors are a deliberate sidestep. Support tooling defaults to green (Zendesk) and blue (Intercom); we chose a Deep Teal that signals intelligence and trust without looking like everyone else, warmed by an Amber accent for energy and human motion. Confident, modern, and a little bit faster than the category around it.

Inter

A clean, highly legible sans-serif: modern and confident at a headline, still crisp at 14px in a dense dashboard. It carries the marketing site, the product UI, and everything in between, so the brand feels like one continuous voice.
